    Dennis Seufert Owner, President and Head of Service

    Dennis Seufert brings more than 40 years experience to the company. A master electrician, he has extensive experience in commercial electrical contracting, electrical design, design-build and commercial service. Working in the electrical world since he was 13 years old, Dennis graduated from an Electrical Apprenticeship School in 1975. In 1983, Dennis began to pay-it-forward with his electrical knowledge and teach 4th-year Apprenticeship classes for the Harford County Electrical Contractors Association.

    Dennis obtained his Masters Electrical license in 1975 and is now licensed to work in 5 states.

     

  • Josh Seufert
    Josh Seufert Head of Estimating and Construction Project Management

    Josh Seufert is a 3rd generation electrician with more than 20 years of experience with Good News Electric. In 2001, Josh began his work as an apprentice with the company, leading to his graduation from apprenticeship school in 2006 and a promotion as Project Manager and Estimator.  Josh became a Master Electrician in 2013 and has worked on many notable projects such as the National Aquarium, The Baltimore Zoo Hospital, The Fallston Activity Center and African Penguin Exhibit at the Baltimore Zoo.

     

  • Jay Barnes
    Jay Barnes Chief Estimator

    Jay is a local graduate from C. Milton Wright High School, who quickly became an apprentice with Good News Electric in 2006. He completed apprenticeship school in 2010, graduating with a #1 GPA in all four years of education. In 2013, Jay received Master Electrician from the state of Maryland and was awarded the position of Project Manager and Estimator with Good News Electric in 2015. Jay has worked on many notable projects such as the Whiteford Library, the African Penguin Exhibit featured at the Baltimore Zoo and St. Margaret’s School in Annapolis.
